As part of the build up to the Pan African Space Station festival, Brendon Bussy presented a series of performances exploring unusual approaches to music making.

Some great pictures by Niklas Zimmer of the event.

New Old, Old New
Inventing, reinventing and rediscovering musical instruments.

An opportunity to see performers who work with the available, driving a new, and old, musical language, spanning traditional African through psuedo African through every other form of appropriated contemporary sound culture.

Performances were interspersed with discussion, question time and demonstration. All were recorded for the PASS archive.
